Camp 'N' Fish - Camp in a pecan bottom on the banks of the Brazos River.  Tent sites with tables and grills overlooking the river.   RV sites with electricity and water.  Rest rooms with hot showers.  Quiet, secluded.  254-897-2478.

Somervell County Heritage Center - A geneologist's paradise!  One of the most complete resources available to help you search your family's heritage.  Downtown. 254-897-9073

"The Promise" - outstanding epic musical drama reflecting the story of Jesus Christ.   Open Friday and Saturday nights in the fall. 

Dinosaur Valley Park - Paluxy River contains three types of giant dinosaur tracks.   Park has two life-sized replicas of dinosaurs.  254-897-4588

Somervell County Exposition Center - Horse shows, rodeo events, music concerts, dog shows, and a variety of shows throughout the year.  Camp at Oakdale - less than a mile from the Expo Center. 

Somervell County Historical Museum
- Located on the town square.  See unique bits of local history, including dinosaur tracks and a whiskey still.  No admission, but donations appreciated.
